Stay in Zawiercie!
At the beginning of 2012, a very important project for the residents of the Zawiercie district was carried out – "Stay in Zawiercie." The initiative was organized by the Center for Local Initiatives in partnership with local government authorities and entrepreneurs from Zawiercie.
The total of sponsored internships was 15 months for 8 students.
The initiative was dual-focused:
- Changing the mindset of the youth (students and graduates of higher education institutions) about "emigration" from the local town and stopping it.
- Encouraging an important stance among Zawiercie's entrepreneurs and employers to retain such youth by offering them job opportunities and the possibility to invest in young talents.
ANRO company funded internships at its headquarters and gave young people the chance for professional development and self-fulfillment at work, as well as the desire to stay and support their own city and district with their presence.
